Power Hour 360 Q&A with Greg Duffield
What Powers You?
What has been your motivation to get in and stay in shape?
“When I was younger, I used to be able to eat anything that I wanted and my body stayed the same. Well…that doesn’t happen any longer! In addition, I have found that exercise is really good “me” time, which helps physically and mentally and reduces some of the daily stress. I’ve come to enjoy the sense of accomplishment at the end of a workout or race.”
What is your favorite physical attribute about yourself? (Keep it clean!)
“Due to the running and cycling, I’ve got pretty strong legs.”
Which would be harder to give up: Sugar or salt? Coffee or alcohol?
“Can I say all 4? I try to keep everything in moderation as I found that it’s really hard for me to completely give up something long term.”
What is something you’ve always wanted to try but have been too scared to?
“Perhaps I’ll try swimming or climbing in the future, although climbing involves heights so that may not work for me on second thought.”
If you could trade places with one person for a day who would it be and why?
“I would love to trade places with Walt Disney for a day. His level of creativity & imagination is unmatched and influenced the world in such a positive, happy way.”
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
“At work, I’m responsible for leading a large group of people and it is always a proud moment to see people grow and reach their potential. That’s also one of the reasons why I’ve enjoyed Power Hour 360—Reinier, Kerry and the instructors are all there to support each individual in reaching their fitness goals & potential. At the same time, the environment that they’ve created encourages great people to gravitate & join PH360. I’ve met some of the best people through PH360!”
WHAT POWERS YOU? (Motivates, inspires, ignites passion, etc.)
“Progress is motivating. Whether it is big steps or small steps, just moving forward is inspiring.”
