What has been your motivation to get in and stay in shape?

Robert:  How good I feel once I’m done working out and how much more energy I have during the day.

Justin: I was tired of looking at myself in the mirror and not being able to find clothes that fit me.

What is your favorite physical attribute about yourself:

Robert:  My arms and legs.

Justin: My height, currently 6'3"

Which would be harder to give up: sugar or salt? Coffee or alcohol?

Robert: Salt and Coffee!

Justin: I really can’t have sweets, as I’m lactose intolerant and wasn’t hard for me to give up salt. I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but occasionally like to have a specialty coffee drink, alcohol was not an option to give up, as I’m only a sophomore in high school.

If you could trade places with one person for a day who would it be and why?

Robert: I would trade places with the Pope, to bring peace to the world just for that day!!

Justin: I would be Benny, a trainer at PH360, because he really stood by me and encouraged me day in and day out. I now see him as a friend and really look up to him.

What accomplishment are you proudest of?

Robert: My kids, it’s the best thing I’ve done in my life.

Justin: Losing 80 pounds, since February of 2017. At first it was extremely hard to stay motivated and get through the workouts, but being committed to my workouts and Eat Like Your Trainer helped me a lot.

WHAT POWERS YOU? (Motivates, inspires, ignites passion, etc.)

Robert: My kids! I want to be around a long time for them. I also like how it makes me feel…I feel younger and have more energy during the day, which allows me to accomplish more. Also, all the trainers and the atmosphere at PH360 motivates me, they are all super friendly and it feels like family.

Justin: Looking at myself in the mirror get smaller. Sometimes I look in the mirror and still see the 350-pound person I used to be, but most of the time I see my new smaller self. Seeing my smaller self is my motivation to continue to workout and eat well.

Robert: I really like to spend time with Justin.

Justin: It’s good to workout with someone you know, as they are going through the same thing you are going through. Watching my Dad struggle like I am, keeps me motivated to keep going.
