Power Hour 360 Q&A with Trina and Michael Hollingsworth
What Powers You?

What has been your motivation to get in and stay in shape?

(TH) “Seeing the changes in my body and how it feels to be healthy.”

(MH) “My wife and my age. I can say for certain that without my wife motivating me every morning, it would be difficult to get out of bed to get to the 5am class.”

What is your favorite physical attribute about yourself? (Keep it clean!)

(TH) “Since I started working out, I like the tone and definition in my shoulders.

(MH) “ My height.  I was always thin and not a very strong kid when I was growing up and playing sports. But, I was tall and that helped a bit.

Which would be harder to give up: Sugar or salt? Coffee or alcohol?

(TH) “Definitely sugar. I have a major sweet tooth!”

(MH) “Salt and alcohol. I don’t eat a lot of food that has sugar.  I may have an iced coffee every other month.”

What is something you’ve always wanted to do but have been too scared to try?

(TH) “Anything to do with heights – skydiving, repelling or even ziplining.”

(MH) “The only thing that comes to mind would be skydiving. I wouldn’t trust someone else to pack my parachute and I’ve never done it.  I wouldn’t trust myself to do it either.”

If you could trade places with one person for a day who would it be and why?

(TH) “I don’t know that I would do that. I’m very happy with who I am and where I am in life.  And, each day it seems to get better.”

(MH) “Right now, it would be Major League Baseball Player, Bryce Harper.  Growing up, I always dreamed of being a professional baseball player.  I think it would be amazing to be able to play the game at such an elite level.”

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

(TH) “I have to say my career. I left my family business several years ago and entered a completely different field. I have worked my way up and am having much success!”

(MH) “My time in the USAF and completing two combat tours in Afghanistan and two combat tours in Iraq.”

WHAT POWERS YOU? (Motivates, inspires, ignites passion, etc.)

(TH) “My family. To have that support system is priceless.”

(MH) “Family, especially my wife Trina. I was a single father and had fallen into a routine that was not especially healthy. Meeting my wife completely changed my life, and the way I was living life. Being with my wife made me want to be a better person. And, a part of that was looking better, feeling better and living a much healthier lifestyle overall.”
